The Glass House, award winning cafe bar and bistro (winners of Best Continental Bar 2008), based in Northstead Manor Gardens as part of the multi-million pound regeneration of the area, known as ‘The Sands’.

We host various themed nights throughout the months. If you are interested in having your own special night accompanied with great food and friendly staff, we would be happy to help.

Themed Events NEW PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED

We are pleased to offer a wide range of themed nights from Rat Pack, 60′s,70′s and 80′s night with David Nicholson to Evenings of clairvoyance with Trevor Bright and our Murder Mystery Evenings These are a fabulous evenings out for couples, through to staff parties. You can also book any of the events for private parties for up to 40 guests.

The Glass House is also available for private parties of 15- 40 guests on any night of the week. Our chefs will come up with an imaginative menu to suit your needs and prices start from £6.95 per head. We have a fully licensed bar and stock a large variety of wines, beers and soft drinks.

Now celebrating our 80th year, we have been operating trains since 1931, taking passengers for around ¾ mile from Peasholm Park to Scalby Mills stations, offering beautiful views of Scarborough’s North Bay.

The line operated by the North Bay Railway Company Ltd, offers a wide range of attractions as well as the railway, including the Glass House Bistro, Boating Lake and Historic Water Chute.

So why not come and visit us? We are dog friendly and 100% wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
